Protein Drink

Chocolate/Strawberry Smoothie.

After aerobic and weight bearing exercise it is important to feed your muscles with a little protein. Glutamine is great for restoration and weight loss.

In a blender: 1 c chocolate soy milk, 1/4 c strawberry yogurt and 3 ice cubes.
Chop and blend.
Add fresh or frozen strawberries.
Blend
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder and 1 teaspoon of glutamine (5 grams) Blend very well.

Glutamine promotes weight loss but keeps muscle, helps memory, and gives an abundance of sustained energy.
Five grams with a smoothie in the morning and 5 grams into a glass of water in the evening is a sufficient daily dosage for most people.

You can buy protein ingredients at Wal-Mart.

The presentation will be run through the Synergy classroom laptop which now projects all lessons in power point format to a big screen. Steve is located in Oregon & through internet technology will allow him to actually take control of our computer to do this conference presentation. Margie would love to have graduates return free of charge to participate in this interact presentation where students & graduates can ask questions of Steve through a conference call.

Drink more water

During the night I had one of those "ahh moments" and I'd like to share it with you. I was experiencing increased stiffness and tenderness and couldn't figure out it's origin, so being who I am I began to review the changes happening in my life.

Because it's so cold outside I've not been drinking as much water as usual and I believe I have had a build up of toxins in my system.

The stiffness and tenderness is caused only with inactivity. As long as I keep moving the muscles are somewhat able to detox but need water the flush it out.

Has anyone else found this to be true? Today I will increase my water and see if it changes. If anyone complains about stiffness and tenderness in the muscles I think they need to be reminded to drink more water.

Angie.
